Several reports of facebook creating a team to look into using cryptocurrency after hiring "David Marcus". Marcus is the has created the internal "blockchain team" to look into ways to use the technology. The main concern will be scaling the technology onto the platform. “Payments using crypto right now is just very expensive, super slow, so the various communities running the different blockchains and the different assets need to fix all the issues, and then when we get there someday, maybe we’ll do something,” Marcus said in an interview with CNBC. Its very early days but shows that the large tech companies are looking into bringing crypto onto their platforms.
